One only has to listen or read the evening news to realize that there is great turmoil in the world and that it has reached into the borders of this nation.  While there are periods of seemingly calmness and prosperity, the tumultuous times appear to be increasing and lengthening in duration.

Tears in a Bottle

Once again our nation has reflected on the sacrifice of its men and women as they have given their lives to protect and maintain our freedom.   It is right that we should honor them with a day of remembrance.   Most families have lost loved ones in the continuing wars that our nation has faced.  Our tears are not only one of sadness, but are expressions of thanksgiving and appreciation for those who have given their all.  While the loss of life does bring sorrow in our lives, Scripture tells us that God has seen our tears.
