The vastness of God’s creation when compared to one individual life on earth is beyond comprehension.
The Biblical record … “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen 1:1a NIV) brings to human history the first revelation of the Creator God. The unfolding presentation of the Creator God progresses throughout the Scriptures as He purposes to have relationship with the creature, specifically mankind.
The continuous roll of waves offer many spiritual portraits in describing the thinking and actions of God, people and nations. In the previous article, roaring waves depicted the wrath of God being poured out on Christ as He hung on the Cross to accomplish salvation for mankind. Perhaps that is the most graphic and extreme analogy found in Scripture, for no person was ever subjected to the justice of God in payment for the sins of the world.
